Choose Life

Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve ... But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15)

Choosing to side with the Word of God and NOT the ways of the world is a major challenge. Its not just a one time event but a process of choosing to believe and act upon the Word of God over and over in every circumstance, no matter how depressing they may appear.

You dont need to see WHAM wearing a T-shirt in a music video for you to Choose Life. We all need to choose life. Years ago I decided I was going to choose Jesus and the ways of God. Since then Ive had to choose Him again and again in tempting, compromising situations every day. Ive chosen Him as my Lord and Savior. Ive chosen Him as my Healer and Provider. Ive chosen Him as my Banker and Financier. Ive chosen Him as CEO of my business and household. Ive chosen Him as head of my ministry. Ive chosen Him, not some website, to be my Matchmaker, to find that tithing, giving, Word-loving Proverbs 31 wife with a beautiful mind and tight abs that God has ordained for me from the foundation of the world. With God as my Father and Provider, I expect nothing but the best life has to offer.

Sometimes that choice gets tough and the waiting interminable, but God has promised it will never be too tough. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. God will not allow you to be subjected to temptations or tests youre unable to overcome. With every trial or temptation, Hell make a way of escape, even Escape from Alcatraz. God will ALWAYS make sure you have a choice and unlike Kevin Costner, you wont face No Way Out.

The devil doesnt come to test you while God forgets to check His email, unaware of what is happening to you. The Spirit of God is constantly there with you, providing you with ways to overcome. God matches even the toughest temptations with the lethal weapons and power you need to conquer them and, with or without Martin Luther King, you shall overcome. God always makes it possible for you to choose life.

Choose life over death. You dont have to be an anti-abortion activist to choose life. Choose to walk in LOVE and walk by faith. Choose to live by the Word of God. Choose the fellowship of God over the fellowship of the ring. Choose the blessings over the curses. Choose God over the flesh, the world and the devil. Choose prosperity over poverty, health over sickness, increase over lack, deliverance over oppression, joy over sadness. Choose fidelity over adultery. Choose the truth of Gods Word over the lies of satan. Choose purity over fornication. Choose the Bible over Harry Potter, Miss Cleo, astrology, New Age, Hollywood or the occult. Choose giving over receiving. Choose forgiveness over bitterness.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the Way to the good life, the power and the glory of God! Choose Him, and choose Him NOW!

Confession

Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Christ has redeemed me from poverty and oppression. Christ has redeemed me from addiction and sickness. Christ has redeemed me from spiritual death. For poverty He has given me wealth. Money cometh to me, now! Im a money magnet. Im out of debt. My needs are met. I have plenty more to put in store. I am prosperous. I am rich. I am wealthy. In the name of Jesus, my money is on its way to me. Its on its way to me now! I have promotion and favor now! I have increase and blessings now! In the name of Jesus, money cometh to me, now!

For sickness He has given me health. I am the healed protecting my health from sickness and disease. I will live and not die. With long life I am satisfied with and I know Gods great soteria. For death He has given me eternal life. I have eternal life with God. Im anointed to live a long, prosperous, healthy, wealthy and joyous whole life. It is true unto me, according to the Word of God. I delight myself in the Lord and He gives me the desires of my heart. Im out of debt, now! I have plenty more to put in store! I have
given, and it is given unto me good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over men give unto my bosom. With what measure I mete, it is measured unto me. I sow bountifully, therefore I reap bountifully. I give cheerfully, and my God has made all grace abound toward me, and I, having all sufficiency for all things do abound to all good works.

There is no lack, for my God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. The Lord is my Shepherd and I do not want, because Jesus was made poor that I, through his poverty, might have abundance. For He came that I might have life, and have it more abundantly. And I, having received abundance of grace, and the gift of righteousness do reign as a king in life by Jesus, the Anointed One and His Anointing.

The Lord has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant and Abrahams blessings are mine. God, we believe we receive it! We believe we receive it right now! We have what we say! Were the redeemed of the Lord and we have what we say! We cannot be denied!
